JOHN CUNNINGHAM
Accountant / Founding Director
John has been working in the accounting industry for more than 40 years, 37 of which he has been a partner and/or running his own practice. He is a Certified Practicing Accountant, Registered Tax Agent and SMSF Auditor. He has extensive experience in areas associated with Business, Taxation, Superannuation Funds and Auditing. Recently John was acknowledge by the CPA for 40 consecutive years of membership.
As of the 1st July 2019, John welcomed Terry, Lauren & Nikki as part of the Partners / Directors team.
Outside of work John likes to travel and loves spending time with his beautiful wife and family/extended family, children and grandchildren. He also likes gardening and the occasional bike ride.
John is partial to a nice glass of red wine!
Terry Harvey
Accountant / Director
Terry has been working in the accounting industry since 2001 with John Cunningham. After completing his Bachelor of Commerce, he went on to become a Certified Practicing Accountant. He has extensive experience in areas associated with Business, Taxation, Superannuation and Auditing.
As of the 1st July 2019, Terry has been welcomed as apart of the Partner Team, & is now officially a Director of Cunningham Harvey.
Outside of work Terry likes to play basketball and watch sport. He also likes spending any free time with his family and having lazy weekends at home.
Lauren Lane
Accountant / Director
Lauren is a fully qualified accountant who has been in the industry for 15 years, most of this time working with John Cunningham.
She has extensive experience in the area of Small Business Taxation, Superannuation Funds including Class Super and Audit Work.
As of the 1st July 2019, Lauren has been welcomed as apart of the Partner Team, & is now officially a Director of Cunningham Harvey.
Outside of the office Lauren loves spending time with her husband and two beautiful children. She also enjoys watching her local netball and football teams and supporting her husband’s musical group.
Nikki Everett
Accountant / Director
Nikki has been an employee of Cunningham & Harvey since July 2012. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (DBCC – University of South Australia). Nikki has experience in the areas of small business taxation, Business Activity Statements, financial statement preparation, Audit and Self-Managed Superannuation Funds.
As of the 1st July 2019, Nikki has been welcomed as apart of the Partner Team, & is now officially a Director of Cunningham Harvey.
Outside of the office, Nikki enjoys vacations with family and friends, going to the beach and spending time with her husband, son & daughter.
She is an Adelaide Crows football supporter (but only lets it be known when they are winning).
Jayne Svoboda
Tax Consultant / Bookkeeper / Snr Admin
Jayne, started working with the Cunningham & Harvey Whyalla Office in 2012, before relocating to the Barossa Valley with her family in early 2016, when she then re-joined the team in the Gawler office.
Jayne covers many varying roles within the office. As a Tax Consultant/Bookkeeper, Jayne assists in the preparation of Taxes, BAS, Payroll and SMSF’s.
Samantha Caruso
Receptionist
In April 2017 Samantha completed her studies for Certificate III in Business Administration and is looking at resuming her studies in the near future.
Outside the office, Samantha enjoys gardening, organising her home and spending time with her partner & dog.
Samantha is currently on maternity leave.
Tracey Harris Receptionist
Tracey commenced employment with Cunningham & Harvey June 2023 as the receptionist in our Whyalla office.
Outside of work, Tracey loves spending quality time with her two daughters and also enjoys spending time in the garden, hosting family BBQs and watching netball and football.
Tracey is an Essendon football club supporter.
